"Nice exclusive room in a 9 room boutique hotel. The staff could accommodate our needs (early check in, help with luggage). Located on the main tourist street of Edinburgh. Most attractions are accessible by foot. Rooms are on 3 floors above street level. No elevator (could be problematic for some customers; just be aware of that). Bar-restaurant with singer on site. Highly recommended. "

"Our room was clean and comfortable - very charming. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Loved the quaint atmosphere - the meals in the gastropub were very tasty. The only concern we had is that the bed was a little too hard for us and the pillows too soft - but features like that are very subjective so that might not be a problem for you! The Inn is situated on a main road so can get very busy at times. Our room did overlook the road but once the window was closed and blinds drawn it was quieter....

"This has been my favourite find so far. The location is stunning, environment relaxing, the staff are fantastic. I have enjoyed many return visits to dine in the lovely restaurant and to stay. The children feel this is like a home from home and treat some of the staff like family."
