"Had a lovely balcony room overlooking Grassmarket square with views of the castle. Hotel was clean and staff was helpful and kind, We arrived early and were able to get our rooms early. Rooms were very nice. Being next to grassmarket was a little louder than expected but manageable. Restaurant food was delicious and service was great."

"quick walk into the downtown, Very comfortable bed and maybe the best shower ever.
Mini bar was free, decent snacks and drinks. 1 small complaint, there was only 1 chair in the bedroom, 1 person had to sit on the bed and the other in the chair while we had our wine. Overall top notch hotel that I would go back to in a heartbeat"

I had a fantastic stay at The Inn Place in Edinburgh. The hotel was exceptionally clean, from the lobby to the rooms, which made the entire experience feel comfortable and well cared for.
The location is unbeatable; only about a 3‑minute walk from Waverley Train Station and just 2 minutes from the Royal Mile. It made exploring the city incredibly easy, and being so close to the station was especially convenient for arrival...

"We came to explore Edinburgh and the location of the hotel is perfect. Next to the train station, a block to catch the tram, a couple of blocks to the hop-on-hop-off. Restaurants, museums, pubs, shops and the Royal Mile all within walking distance of the hotel.
The rooms are very nice with a minimalist flare. Very quiet! Bring extra hangers as the closet space is limited. There are no dressers so, plan to live out of your suitcase. The breakfast buffet cost extra but, has plenty to offer...

"Our room was clean. There was a soccer match going on during the night of our first stay and it did get a bit noisy out on the street outside our room until about 1:00 AM. Other than that it was a good place to stay and within a short distance to Edinburgh castle and the Royal mile. "

"one of the best hotel room, i have ever stayed. the lobby is nice, the room is huge and even nicer. they refill the water, but towards the end of our stay, they no longer refill the snack.
otherwise the room is nice as per picture, bonus it is just 3 mins walk from the train station, so if your journey is late at night, this hotel is just close by to the train station and royal mile."

"I would have rated our stay a 5 except for one issue that was not resolved to our satisfaction. The washer did not drain properly and the staff took our clothing to rewash and dry them while the machine was repaired. No one ever came to repair the machine and when my clothes were returned, they were stuffed in a laundry bag and did not appear clean.
This hotel has many levels and stairs are unavoidable. We had stayed before and knew this so not an issue. Staff was very willing to assist...

"Overall the property was good but some things to note.
1. Hot water wasn’t working when we arrived. They had someone over within 2 hours to check it, and did end up fixing it within about 4 hours, it was frustrating after a long travel day.
2. The mattress was not very good and the bedding looked run down.
3. There is a little patio type thing that could be accessed by the bedroom, however the furniture out there looked dirty and it didn’t appear it was cleaned at all ever. Should just remove...
