"Lovely apartment on a wonderful local street. Not in the touristy area, which we loved, but some might find it too out-of-the-way. Walking to Stockbridge was wonderful, but New Town was 20 minutes uphill. Cabs/Uber were very tough to get, but that seemed a citywide issue. "

"We had a lovely time. From the moment we were greeted at reception on the first day till the day we left. Everyone was so nice and couldn’t have done enough for us. Our 2 dogs were made so welcome and our dining experience wasn’t reduced in any way because of them. Harriet should get a mention as nothing was too much trouble for her. "I booked this hotel for a trip to Scotland with my adult children without knowing much about the area. We were only there one night and didn't get to use the library or frequent the bar. But we want to next time. Set in a safe neighborhood within walking distance of the tram and buses. Great value!"
