"To be clear it’s an Apartment hotel with no parking, nor any amenities, no assistance to be reached after 6pm daily. Location is good. Room noise facing Queen street is considerable so much so that earplugs are placed in the kitchen for renters. 6 floor had flooring so squeaky everywhere in the apt that one cannot help disturbing others when walking around in the apartment. Have never experienced anything like it. Nice that the 2 bedrooms have 2 separate bathrooms. Rooms are comfortable....

Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. "I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host.
