Scotland Kid friendly Holidays

Great location, great price, great flat layout. Friendly and helpful staff. Im a difficult sleeper (think princess and the pea) I found the mattress a bit too hard and the pillows a bit too soft. But the lunar eclipse could also have impacted my sleep.

The staff were great and the room was clean and spacious.

Compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at at the same price (£419- for 1 night) - this hotel was significantly less captivating. Some members of the team were helpful, others weren’t. Front of house staff had no smiles on their faces when interacting with guests. It cost nothing to put on a smile. I was checked out by a member of staff who was on her private phone until she had to be beckoned by a superior staff to see to me. I am trying to leave constructive feedback, as someone who also deals with customers in my line of work.

Good stay, no cooling in room so fan provided. Amenities good. Car park a challenge to turn around in, nearly had to get right back out again as spaces are very tight. A good stay overall many thanks!

Prices are high during the Fringe which is consistent with other prices in the area but the room was great, location was great and ability to cook in the kitchenette is a real bonus. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.
