"Staff were so friendly and helpful. Castle grounds were nice. Castle itself was nice as well. There is currently scaffolding covering one side. There was a wedding there so we couldn't go into the library cuz it was reserved for them. "

The staff were helpful and professional. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked. A perfect place to stay about 10 minutes drive from a park and ride into Edinburgh."

"The property was a way out from Edinburg but easily accessible from the Tram at Ingliston park and Ride. The hotel offers a shuttle to the tram at specific times. The hotel is very nice with a beautiful spa and the staff was extremely accommodating. "

"We stayed in room no 1 and it was beautifully appointed with wood panelling and high ceilings . A very large and luxurious bathroom was also much appreciated. The curtesy tray included a good selection of teas and espresso capsules. I suppose we were a bit unlucky to stay on one of those rare hot days in Edinburgh, but the room was very hot at night and we didn’t find the fan until our second night. "Early check in went well and we were shown to our room which had everything we needed and was lovely and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. Only criticism I have is the first impression on entering the bedroom block......was how dirty the carpet on the floor and stairs is which made me wonder if I should have booked the property. But entering the bedroom changed that idea and all was well."

"The space was unuque and beautiful. Definite old world charm. The staff was helpful with suggestions, and friendly. The common spaces were very nice. I would say the room is good for sleeping, but just be aware they are very tiny rooms. It was exactly what we needed, but if I wanted to stay at a place where I'd be in my room a lot I would probably choose something else. But since my room was just for sleeping I would stay here again because I liked all the other spaces. "
