"This is a terrific option for a short stay in London as a tourist. Excellently presented and a more fun option than a bigger hotel, particularly in summer when you want to walk everywhere. Didn’t spend as much time in the actual pub itself but it was certainly a popular spot. "
"Amazing hotel with super helpful and courteous staff. Located right next to St. Pancras and Kings Cross stations, this is a perfect location to stay in. We would definitely stay here again!"
"A nice, well run small hotel in an excellent location in the heart of Georgian Bloomsbury, in a fine historic building. Very nice and attentive staff, hearty English breakfast, lots of stairs to keep one fit."
"Feels like being a guest in a beautifully maintained city home. Staff is friendly & helpful. A pleasant outdoor courtyard is great for a drink or your dinner. There are many stairs, and no lift but staff will bring your luggage up & down for you. I would return to this comfortable personal hotel again and again. "

"Thus was a lovely clean hotel with friendly staff and great breakfasts and meals if desired - within easy reach of a tube station and would recommend "
"Really nice hotel . Comfortable and clean. Unfortunately no AC and it was HoT! Staff very nice except for the baggage guys. Almost rude . But overall great choice "
"Wonderful stay at this boutique budget hotel for backpackers and travelers of all sorts. We came to London to go to the Opera and the Hiroshige expo at the British Museum and both were in walking distance of the hotel. Euston Station is .5 miles away and the entire area has many shops, restaurants and green spaces to lie on the grass. The hotel has toilets and showers just off the staircase and this is nice so that you don't have to listen to your partner on the toilet in a small room. The toilets were always clean and showers had powerful, hot water. The windows opened so we had fresh air. The staff was friendly and has been run by the same family since 1964. If you're looking for a budget hotel in Bloomsbury, near the British Museum, the Royal Opera House, Soho and Euston, Saint Pancras and King's Cross stations, look no further. This is the place. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Highly recommended. "
