"Stayed for 2 nights with my son. The staff were so helpful, polite and truly lovely people who genuinely wanted you to enjoy your stay! Something that lacks in larger hotels. The rooms had everything we needed and were clean. The location is excellent for Kings Cross and St Pancras stations and also about a leisurely 30 minute walk into Leicester Square. Would highly recommend this wee gem of a hotel- I will definitely be back "

"My studio was perfect for the two weeks I have spent in London. Public transportation is close, dining is close, pubs are close, British museum and other points of interests are near by. The studio had everything I needed, kitchen was equipped, bed was comfy and it was clean. I felt safe in the neighborhood even when coming back late. I recommend this place."

"The room was small but perfectly formed everything you want from a short stay. The hotel staff were friendly Not tea or coffee provided in room, but for a budget hotel not all that surprising"

"I booked a room with private bath. The room was very spacious, even with a King bed in it. The bath was large also. It was at a corner, offering quietness and privacy. There were a lot of school kids from likely Spain, literally hundreds, but this did not bother me at all. The full breakfast was great at 9.50 pounds. Also tried a hamburder for dinner - it was amazing! Easy walk to the Brunswick and Euston stations. There are a bunch of cafes and eating places next to the Generator. Overall, this was a good place to stay. I will return again if the opportunity presents itself. Staff was great!"

"Stayed here on 2 separate nights as we were travelling around Europe by train. Location of hotel was spot on for the start and finish of our trip on the Eurostar. Very clean hotel and very friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel for anyone travelling and looking for a handy hotel for Charing Cross and King's Cross "

"We had a wonderful first stay at the Standard. The hotel is very up market and our room was spacious and stylish with modern amenities. We stayed in a suite with a dining area, bath in the room and balcony. It was perfect for our first family trip away with our one year old daughter. Having room service available was brilliant so we could have breakfast in the room before getting ready for the day. Lastly, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Really can't fault our stay and wish it had been longer. "
