You can tell from the time you step into the Morton that you have entered into a forgotten luxury. The staff were so welcoming friendly and helpful. The rooms impeccably clean and lovely. The location was the best right by tube and train. So easy to walk. London and the Morton I will be back!!

The Morton Hotel makes your London stay more enjoyable in every way. Its ideal location on Russell Square is within walking distance of The British Museum and the Underground puts you within close proximity of important London sites and great restaurants. Staff are warm, welcoming and helpful. We appreciated their advice. We plan to return.

Great location close to the British Museum, metro/train stations, and dining/pubs. Very helpful staff. Clean room that was reasonably sized. Nice sound-proofing also — we stayed on the 2nd floor and heard no street noise. I’d definitely stay here again1

The hotel was an excellent place to stay the first time as well as our second time. Staff was exceptionally friendly and hospitable. Location of the hotel is perfect due to a beautiful green space across the street with an Italian restaurant in the park. Amenities are a great plus also!!

Fantastic location overlooking Russell Square! Warm, friendly professional staff. Check in was very smooth. Room is nicely appointed, just enough space for 2 people. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Despite arriving 3 hrs before check-in after arriving from overseas, we were immediately provided with our room key and were able to have a quick nap. Very comfortable bed, room had all the amenities we needed (mini fridge, coffee maker/kettle and supplies incl milk in fridge, room safe, hair dryer, full-size shampoo/conditioner/body wash in spacious shower). Quiet air conditioner easily controlled. Only negative was lack of counter space or any wall hooks in bathroom.

We loved our stay at the Morton Hotel. The location was wonderful: near the underground, close to the British Museum and theaters ,and within walking distance of nearly everything else we wanted to see. It was hot for the first few days we were there and the A/C was great. The staff was helpful and attentive. The rooms were well-appointed with wonderful towels, a comfy bed, a roomy bathroom and coffee & cookies. We look forward to returning.

This is a perfect hotel. The staff are superb. It is just the right size and in just the right location. Park,restos and pubs abound. If you need a grand lobby and dramatic entrance, the Morton is not for you. But if you enjoy great personal service, nice comfy rooms and easy access, I recommend highly.

Stayed in a double room which was definitely larger than other London hotels I’ve stayed in. Staff on reception very helpful. We arrived to drop off our bags at 10am and were advised our room was already available so it was great to be able to check in early. Such a handy location!
