"The only good thing I can think of from this hotel is the view from the window facing the bridge. THIS HOTEL DOESN'T HAVE AIR CONDITIONER AND IT GETS REALLY HOT!! they only had ac in the lobby. We went to the restaurant on the second floor 20 minutes before closing time and they did not let us in because they said they were closing soon… I had to have chips for dinner from the self served store. This area is super busy and a bit loud since you are facing the river walking area. I only...

"It’s the second time I have stopped here and I love it. The friendliness and service of the staff is exceptional and the hotel has a lovely old fashioned but well maintained feel about it. A little time warp. The rooms are great and the air conditioning was a real treat."

"The doorman (Milion) was excellent. He gave us a tour of the private upstairs, including Winston Churchill's private office/bar. The front desk was on again off again friendly. Mostly off. For the price I would recommend you find somewhere else. "
