"Luxury is quite a stretch - it’s much more cheap n cheerful, so if you just need a place to sleep, this will do. It’s in a great location with plenty of dining options nearby and good transport links. I had the ‘garden room’ on the top floor which overlooks the roof terrace and a ball games court, so didn’t have any road noise. "Big, clean room that was everything I needed for three nights in York. Was able to store my luggage after check-out. Smooth stay :)"

"Room was very clean but this third party check in is for the birds. Foreign country / no available internet to look up info. Thanks to a lovely shop owner we were able to contact the host. He said he didn’t receive my info but I had sent it. What happened - who knows. So I had to resend it with the help of our wonderful shop owner friend! More to the story but I just want to forget the awful experience!"

"Once you get used to not being a host and you have worked out the codes for all the doors it works ok. I understand the location but really could do with its own parking, luckily the road outside was under roadworks so I parked at the front."
