"The staff were all amazing - incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any short-notice requests. The room was fantastic - spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel's location was perfect for local amenities, sightseeing and restaurants."

"The room was excellent, compact but well designed and spotless. Twice daily cleaning/turn down service andreplenishment of bottled water , coffee etc was a real bonus. The hotel is superbly situated in Edinburgh and has really excellent facilities in terms of bars, restaurants and the library. Staff were top quality and so helpful."

"Overall a wonderful stay in a beautiful building with friendly, attentive staff. Dinner in the court was excellent. Room very nice, warm & comfortable.
Breakfast buffet could have been warmer.
Steam room out of order, sauna quite small."

"This is a fabulous hotel. A great central location. Staff were super helpful & good sense of humour with it. I was upgraded and able to check in early too.

"The room was amazing with plenty of space, the washing machine is a bonus. My teenage daughter had her own little room in the alcove which she loved.
The hotel is very central to walk to all the tourist attractions.
All the staff is very nice and ready to help you.
