"I recently stayed at Edinburgh Marriott Hotel West, and unfortunately, my experience was not as comfortable as I had expected.
The main issue was with the bathroom design. The toilet door had roughly a 1-inch gap, which meant there was a clear line of sight both from inside and outside. "The property is on a beautiful site just under Arthurs Seat. It is very quiet and has seating areas both inside and outside the building which are very comfortable. If you come from the airport, the property is easily accessed by a combination of tram and bus (it takes under an hour). "Our apartment was tired looking, cleanliness can be improved. The complex is located a good 20mins walk from the city centre. There isn't much around the area.
Pro: the kitchen is equipped with plates, cutlery, microwave, nespresso machine and tea and coffee facilities so it is useful if you want to cook some meals.
Note that if you want to leave your luggage you need to pay for a storage locker and you pay £5 for 3hrs. We had 2 small carry on so it could fit in one locker"
