"Winter stay in the room facing the canal. The Junior suite selection with breakfast Pros: classic venetian feel, great vibe. "Location was good, close to the water bus pier, Rialto bridge, market. Just step out of the hotel and there are many souvenir and food stalls around. Reception staffs were very friendly and helpful. No lift just staircase. Room is basic but comfortable and clean. Need to bring your own toiletries as they only provide a small tube of shower and shampoo and no toothbrush. I always have my own toiletries so it wasn’t much of a problem for me. Overall the stay experience is good"

"Not sure how this place is 4 stars. It barely makes a 3 star. The walls were peeling and furniture was broken. Only one tube of hand and body soap. Staff was nice. But this place is a 2-3 star max."

"Ai Boteri is a backpacker hostel, so don't set your expectations too high. Its location on the island is excellent, putting almost all major attractions within walking distance. Situated on a main street rather than down a narrow alley, it is also convenient for getting around with luggage. I stayed in a single room, which contained nothing but basic furniture. The communal kitchen was rather dirty and cluttered. The biggest issue was the frequent lack of Wi-Fi signal, or a connection that was...

"This is a very old hotel and consequently after the rain our room had a very strong odor of sewage which was unpleasant. Also due to rain the front desk was unable to secure a taxi on our departure to train station. We were forced to walk 2 blocks with all of our luggage in the rain to a taxi stand where we waited an additional 20 min. Just including this for travelers seeking this hotel. May be wise to schedule transports in advance. Never knew getting a taxi would be this difficult. Otherwise...

"The shower in the bathroom in our first room was missing a door and had an ant infestation, but the staff quickly dealt with the situation and moved us to a new room. It’s a very well located place with easy access to travestere."
