Directly on canal, so easily serviced by water taxi. The staff was eager to please and very accomodating. Breakfast buffet was sufficient with lots of choices. Hotel is centrally located for walking to all sight seeing options. Would stay again if visiting again.

This hotel is very well located near Venice's sights. You can stay here and get to Piazza San Marco in 10 minutes for example. It's also a 10 minute walk to the Alilaguna stop to come from the airport just don't bring heavy luggage. The room is great with comfortable beds and nice venetian floor. Bathroom is great and features a small shower but that's normal in Italy. Breakfast was first class and had good food and filled you up ready for sightseeing while being free. Be sure to indulge in the croissants as they're some of the best I've ever had. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only problem was that their water heater broke down when we were there which made it hard to shower but hopefully they fix it. Would have no problem staying here again if I'm in Venice.

Really enjoyed the canal view room. The drag was very kind and allowed for an early check in and also stored our bags on day of checkout. The breakfast was very good with many options. Great location Near St. Marks and even a grocery store.

Nice building and location, but they could drastically improve the experience they give their guests. Nearly every interaction with the staff at the hotel was awkward. We had no hot water for the 4 days we were there and we were told, sorry, the building is old. When we followed up after days of having to wash ourselves in the sink, they offered to make it right with a meal from the hotel restaurant. We accepted this offer in good faith and this was a bad decision. The meal was awkward from the beginning - making us feel unwelcome. They made us poorer quality meals than described on the menu - one of which was undercooked seared pork, which I sent back. I spoke with the manager who just apologised, but continued to make us feel bad for even being there. We spoke with friends who stayed at other hotels and they had staff who were excited to share information about what to do, see and eat on the islands. If you're wanting a hotel with good hospitality, or even running hot water, definitely go elsewhere.

Loved our stay, the location was just far enough away from the crowds but close enough to get everywhere quickly. The room was large and had a great view of the canal. The breakfast area was charming. We would definitely stay there again.

We took a private boat from the airport directly to the hotel. Upon arriving, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had a junior suite with canal view and found the room to be spacious and comfortable. Generous breakfasts were provided each morning, and the hotel’s restaurant easily rivals any other restaurant in Venice!

The hotel is well located and very pretty. The rooms were a good size, and comfortable beds. Showers are small and finishes are outdated. Tea & Coffee complimentary in room. Good breakfast and coffee. The best part for us was the superb service from the staff, very helpful, very caring. Downside is the size of the showers.

Lovely hotel near everything in Venice

My wife and I and our two kids absolutely loved our time at Locanda La Corte. The hotel is on a canal, and in a quiet neighborhood close to everything you’d want to see in Venice. The staff was very friendly and helpful (even before our trip), and the room was clean and comfortable. We had the family room, which is actually two rooms (though no doors between them) with two bathrooms. The restaurant is fantastic, and we very much enjoyed the open seating area next to the canal. We definitely would stay here again should we return to Venice!

Wonderful spot for a couple's getaway

Locanda La Corte was a great home base for my wife and I in our recent travels to Venice. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, and even gave us an upgrade to a larger room with a view of the canals. Prior to our stay, front desk staff assisted us with securing reservations for dinner as well as recommendations for points of interest. The location was quiet as it was away from Piazza San Marco and the Rialto, but was still within a 10-minute walk of each of those areas. For the room, the air-con was strong, which was great to beat the humidity of the Venetian day. We didn't try the breakfast for an additional cost, but the breakfast courtyard was cute. My only complaint with the room was that the shower was a tight squeeze, but it was a small price to pay for a large, comfortable room.
