"Great location with close access to Old Town locations. Hotel staff were standouts - friendly and professional. Our room had electrical problems we noticed after settling into the room. Reception and maintenance staff quickly attempted to resolve the issue but ascertained that we needed to move to another room. Reception staff helped us move our luggage to the next room. The rooms are not huge but we had a great view of the city. Also, the older building has interior steps."

"Zimmer zum Innenhof - total ruhig, sehr sauber. Kleine "Küche" mit Spülmaschine so wir konnten Frühstück und mal ein Abendessen selber machen. Und das Prosecco kallt stellen ;-) Auch die Lage am Canongate ist sehr gut. Wir sind überall gelaufen in höchstens zehn Minuten."

"The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We loved the decor which made us feel at home. It was a joy to come “home” to the apartment each night. The towels were large and fluffy and didn’t feel like typical hotel towels. We ran out of toilet paper and tissues and a staff member brought them to our room. It would be nice to have extras already in the room. The bathroom garbage pail could have been larger and got full rather quickly. The one thing we recommend updating is...

"No staff, which is fine with me. Easy entry, spacious, clean, excellent location. Apartment basically with good view of the Christmas market. One note on the Attic Flat, have light luggage and be pretty fit. No lift and impressive staircase to get in. Was excellent."
