"I booked a bed in Pod in The Courtroom (mixed dormitory). The room is huge but everything echos within the space. I know there is only so much the hostel can do but one of the guest was laughing throughout the night. Then he woke up around 6AM to make a loud phone call. Another guest must have confronted him because it was quiet then. These are risk you take booking a share hostel. Regardless, I would stay here again. It's right in the center of everything."

"The Royal Mile has become a zoo, but it's also the spine of Edinburgh (literally), and so a hotel on an extension of the Royal Mile that's both centrally located and not quite so frenetic is a great compromise. "The hotel is probably priced as a cheap option but it is anything but! It’s about a 15 min walk to the city. 2 modern art galleries on its doorstep and a scenic walk from the river leith. As for the actual hotel it’s amazing!! From management to housekeeping,maintenance and front of desk and obviously the bar staff 😊 are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life and they go out and there way to help. Can’t thank them enough for making me feel loved "
