"We stayed at Braid Hills Hotel for the first 3 nights of our honeymoon, and had a fantastic stay! Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Location was a bit far from downtown, but easy enough to get everywhere using the bus, and there was a bus stop right out front. Food in the restaurant was good but a little pricey. Hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. "

"Lovely room, very clean and generously sized. Bay window looked out onto the road and views of the Murrayfield Stadium. Unfortunately the whole room shakes whenever any bus or large vehicle travels down the road. Trying to sleep with a shaking bed took some getting used to. Breakfast was disappointing. I expected better with the additional cost. No Bananas or Apples, just a selection of sliced fruit. One morning, I asked for more yogurt but they had ‘run out’! It was 8.30am, it’s not as if...

"I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. I found the food in the restaurant to be really good. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable ."

"Overall the hotel was good. The location was great as it was central to the airport and the city centre. Right next door to the zoo. The room was a bit dated with basic furniture, matress was too soft and not much space in the bathroom. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was good."

Personally didnt mind a bit of traffic white noise for sleeping to personally but everyone is different. I had a top floor room and it was fairly comfortable. "

"The room itself was quite comfortable and there was tea and coffee, soap, clean towels, clean bedding, the room was clean and warm. I paid for a private bathroom which was right next to my room, they did put a sign up telling customers not to use it but that doesnt necessarily stop people, I was lucky that it was quiet and not busy when I went so I had no issues there. Also if you're getting there after 5pm make sure you call up before you get there as you need a code to get in the building,...

"Place was gorgeous, modern, convenient, clean. Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. Would have liked a full size coffee maker as the nespresso...

"I didn’t order breakfast but the couple times I ordered a cappuccino in a glass mug, it was only have full. Previous stays it was always full. Air conditioning didn’t seem to function properly."
