"The room was a bit dated but the setting is amazing and the restaurant fantastic. "

"The room was clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaners did an excellent job making the room each day. The tea and coffee station was refilled every day. The only con would be the discomfort of the mattress, we could feel springs pressing into us and we found it uncomfortable. Other than this we were extremely impressed and would highly recommend the hotel and restaurant. We would stay again"

"Just an incredible time at the Norton House! Just an incredible comfortable bed with six pillows. Great breakfast, lunch dinner gourmet dinner available there on site and then to be able to walk the grounds and view the sheep go up by the woods and look down at the hotel. It was very nice. The spa facilities were top-notch. The receptionist were always available and friendly. I can’t say enough about the Norton."

"Staff were so friendly and helpful. Castle grounds were nice. Castle itself was nice as well. There is currently scaffolding covering one side. There was a wedding there so we couldn't go into the library cuz it was reserved for them. "

"Lovely friendly staff, comfortable, clean and quiet modern room. Convenient to the city by bus or an easy 30 minute walk. Skip the restaurant, there is better food elsewhere in the city. "
