Many rooms are pleasantly well taken care of with a bygone era of years passed. Delicately maintained. With shops and amenities, coffee shops and restaurants all nearby within walking distance this place is perfectly positioned in the middle of Sydney and never too far from any mainstream tourist locations.. The staff are very helpful and will assist...

"Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Thoroughly recommend."

"The room was well equipped with comfy beds, clean linen and towels, and tea and coffee facilities. We checked in after hours which was a smooth process. The bathrooms did get a bit dirty and ran out of ammenities outside of staffed hours, and the walls are thin so bring earplugs incase you get noisy neighbours like we did. Overall, The Jensen is good value for money and we would stay again."

"The property is well situated, with easy walks to nearby attractions. Very helpful & friendly staff. Rooms are surprisingly large, well appointed with very comfortable beds. No lift, but the very helpful reception carried ALL my baggage up the stairs.Older folk could request a ground floor studio. I'D DEFINITELY BOOK AGAIN !"

"Stayed at the Courthouse Hotel Darlinghurst and had a mixed but generally decent experience. It’s an older building converted into a budget hotel, and the biggest plus is definitely the location. It’s very central and convenient. About 20 minutes’ walk to Central Station, 20 minutes by bus to the CBD, and around 30 minutes to Bondi Beach, making it easy to get around Sydney. The surrounding area has plenty of restaurants and bars (LGBTQ-friendly), and despite that, the room was mostly quiet....
