"A less than five star for this stay as I had a silly runaround to get a receipt for my stay and the wrong card was charged. When you book ‘pay at property’, beware because what this actually means is that they charge the card used to guarantee the room automatically, on the day of arrival, so you do not have the opportunity to pay at the property with a different card if you chose to do so, nor to arrange an emailed invoice. The room itself was completely lacking in any facilities: pillows were useless and collapses as soon as you put your head on (so ended up being flat), there were no extra pillows / bedding in cupboard, no phone to call reception to ask for anything, no iron (even though old iron holder from Hilton days), no...

"Really warm greeting from the stsff as soon as we stepped into the hotel. Quick & efficient check-in. The room was cleaned to a very high standard. Plenty of choice at breakfast - everything from a full english cooked breakfast to a continental one. My only complaint was that there was no restaurant on site, only a cafe for snacks. Overall a great stsy & would definitely revommend."

"Between a 3 and 4, had a room without a window which was the size of the bed and not much more, but helpful staff and asked for quiet and it was. Shower etc all fine. Only real criticism was that the bedding and duvet etc were all polyester and not great quality."

"Even though the room was small it was comfortable for two people. I do with the heat pump /ac unit would have a fan that continues to run as it can get warm without a window. What was disappointing was the lack of extra pillows and blankets. When we asked about extras they said they didn't have any because they are booked solid. Ended up using some extra towels as pillows. Not the most comfortable option, but they did the trick."

"Es gab leider wenig Stauraum, für 5 Tage und 3 Personen musste leider die Fensterbank als Kasten herhalten. Im Bad gibt es keine Steckdose für den Föhn, man musste im Zimmer föhnen, ohne Tisch. Die Zimmer waren sauber, 2 Doppelbetten mit 140x200cm. Die Rooftop-Bar war sehr schön. Essen und Cocktails wirklich gut. Personal sehr zuvorkommend."

"Nicht weit vom Victoria Station entfernt und der ideale Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Stadt. Wir sind früh morgens angekommen und haben unsere Koffer gleich im Hotel abgegeben. Später haben wir eine E-Mail erhalten, als unser Zimmer schon früher fertig war. Beim Frühstück ist für jeden was dabei - im Allgemeinen, guter Standard, wie man es von Riu-Hotels gewohnt ist. In der Umgebung findet man auch einen Supermarkt mit langen Öffnungszeiten und auch nette Kneipen. "

"Second time I have stayed here. Very convenient for Edinburgh, with a bus stop right outside the door. Bar area and breakfast were very good. Parking is limited and you may not always find a space. The pool area is basic but satisfactory."
