"We was in room 286 and we was woken up by a cleaner at 9am asking me if I was checking out. I still had 2 hours of the room and it was extremely rude . It felt like it was done on purpose. We checked into our room and all we could hear was drilling. Awful stay"

"Pros: Clean room, air conditioning was nice, and the location was great. So close to so many shops, food, theaters etc. Hotel is also right next to the underground. Staff was nice, some were more helpful than others. Cons: The price for what you get is not great. You’re essentially paying for the convenience of the location. There were a severe lack of basic amenities in my room (no cups for water, no tissues, no washcloths, no blow dryer etc). You essentially are paying for a bed, AC, a...

"Located in the centre of the theatre District you are stones through away from major attractions. The staff were accommodating and polite. The rooms was not as clean as I thought it would be. There was here in the bathroom and the basin stopped. Cork didn’t work properly. It was lovely to have air-conditioning and a nice comfy bed. Would definitely stay there again."

"Really nice hotel, great location and friendly staff. Room was decent, a little awkward due to layout but manageable as I was travelling alone. Some noise early in the morning which woke me up both days and everything was done digitally from checking in/out and room key. Hotel is less than a 2 minute from Earl's court station and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Supermarkets and a Boots too."

"Very central but quiet in the space and with hot weather just now, the air conditioning was really appreciated! Everyone very helpful. Just be aware that you will not be able to stand up in the space but you can stretch your arms up with room to spare when lying down. Takes a wee bit of getting used to, shimmying out the pod but for such a central locution and the quiet when in the space, such a bargain. Would use again!"

"We were in London during the recent heatwave and the staff did everything they could to help us be comfortable and happy - ice and cold water in the lobby, fans and open windows for every room, and smiles and kind suggestions for places to go to stay cool. The location is excellent - very close to both Paddington station and Kensington Gardens. The bed was comfortable and the full breakfast was tasty and made to order. If my travels bring me back to London, I would stay here again!"

"The room was terrible and overlooked an inner brick courtyard. We ordered a bowl and spoon be sent up from the front desk so our son could eat some cereal and no one ever showed up. We’ve stayed there before and loved the experience and location, but I think I’ll try a new hotel next time. Bummer because it’s close to the tube station."

"Good location, much nicer quality than many I've stayed at in the area, beautiful lobby & helpful staff (24/7 reception, coffee machine in the foyer). We were on the 2nd floor which was fine to get to without a lift, even in the heatwave - good aircon in rooms. The room was small but felt much larger with how it was laid out, the inset wardrobe etc. Would definitely stay again!"

"Really enjoyed our stay there. Unfortunately the lift was out of order but the staff were really helpful in bringing our cases up and down the stairs! Staff were friendly. Atmosphere was great. Would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to other friends and family. Interesting historical background too."
