"It my friends special birthday so this was a treat. Room was lovely. Went to the loo & there was a poo in the loo. The fridge smelt of fish. Complained & was told they will see if they could move us. After an hour sent to reception. They finally moved us, to an updated room. A lovely suite. Go into bathroom to find bin full of the last persons rubbish. The whole point to take my friend there was to take her to the spa. Which wasn’t open until the day we left."

"Clean property. Comfy bed, though the pillows were like rocks. The rooms fit and finish was a bit tired and below average. The major problem we had was the room upon entering had the heat on and it was over 29 degrees. And it was a hot sunny day outside. It took forever to get the rooms temperature to a barely tolerable level. It was a very uncomfortable temperature through the night so sleep suffered. "

"As always, the staff are fantastic, the grounds are well kept, the nights are quiet down at the stables and restaurant end (I've only ever stayed that end), and the breakfast are very tasty with a good spread that is frequently replenished with fresh food. The room I had this time around wasn't quite as immaculate as my last stay but it was clean, comfortable and well appointed."

"Tired and run down. Changed rooms and the second one ws also awful. Bed uncomfortable and bathroom dirty. Stains on carpet and evetything is dated. Food is average at best. Staff are friendly. Ive stayed here everal times for work and aadly i wont be booking again."
