"The hotel is situated in a quiet, convenient area, near Buckingham Palace. Very close to Victoria Apollo, where we went to see wicked. It has a unique history, being the place that housed Queen Victoria’s servants. As a history fan, it is incredible to think that my room used to belong to one of these servants. The ground floor, which used to be the shops, now houses the marble foyer and some exquisite restaurants and bars. They really make the most of the history- the bar ( which we visited...

It was two blocks away from from the High Street Kensington stop, a block away from the Kensington palace, and directly across the street from a great pub, the Goat Tavern. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was outstanding and the staff was very helpful and friendly. "The room were very clean, housekeeping did an amazing job. The rooms are small, don’t have dressers to put your clothes, I have to leave it inside the suitcases"

"The room is just adequate for London standards. Very clean and well maintained property. Well priced for central London. It’s well connected with transit services a block away. We mostly got around walking everywhere. It’s definitely 15 to 20 mins of walking to the main areas of attractions and good restaurants. Breakfast was good with both hot and cold options. It was nice coming back to a clean room each day. Overall it was a good experience for our first trip to London."

"The Strand Palace is in the perfect location for hopping on the buses and underground tube trains. The restaurant served very tasty meals. This is my second time staying here and will definitely upgrade to a larger room next visit."

"Self check in was a bit lack luster. The humans that were available in the lobby might as well have been robots. The hallways were very dark and hard to see room numbers. If you are ok with not having a chair a window a hair dryer or a personality…..this is the perfect place."
