The area was mostly quiet (the World Cup finals were on while we were there, so that was exciting) and an easy tune line to the big tourist attractions. Would definitely stay there again’"

"We made one request prior to check-in, as we had never stayed at a Pub before. As it was the World Cup, with team England in it, I had some concern that it might be noisy all night. Nothing could have been further from the truth. They were in the pub until all hours, but our room might have been in an isolated convent it was so quiet. One passed through a series of nearly air-tight doors along a corridor, and it became quiter and quiter. So it was the best of both worlds: have a great time...

"The good: Self check-in on a kiosk was nifty. Room was clean, but beds were a little too firm for my liking. Shower water was hot and had good pressure, but no towel hooks anywhere?? No in-room mini fridge or microwave (but that may be standard in Europe). Decent breakfast buffet. The not so good: There was a sign in the lobby that said the front desk is staffed during normal daytime hours (10a-7p ish) but no one was there at *any* time we were coming or going. After checking in, I had to call...

"Not many amenities. Rooms were BERY outdated-felt like we were back in time a couple of decades. Bed was quite comfortable, which was nice. Need washcloths, not just towels, in the bath. Room was clean, just so outdated that it was hard to tell and the carpet surely had seem much better days-a long long time ago. Staff were VERY pleasant and helpful."

"The person in charge or owner waited for us patiently to check in around 5pm plus & personally showed us how to enter the premises using their key/code & also showed us directly to our room which is located just right on ground floor as we requested. The room is comfortable with sufficient amenities provided that include pantry facilities & spacious closet & the room also comes with a big window with enough sunlight & ventilation (if open).
