"Great location for getting to sought-after sites. Basically, midway between the Vatican and Colosseum (20 mins to each). As the hotel is a block away from a taxi stand, the staff can get you in a cab in 5 mins. Speaking of staff, they were extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive, be it the front desk, rooftop bar restaurant, or room. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Major. The hotel was close and walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do in Rome. The room was fantastic, had a breathtaking view of St. Mary Basilica and the staff were beyond excellent. Luigi in the front helped with our check in and check out and getting our transportation scheduled to the airport on departure day. Would 10/10 recommend this property. Every day we came back, our room was cleaned and refreshed. "
