"The gardens were excellent & clean, staff were amazing, check in & out were hassle free, the rooms were big and spacious. "Bedroom we had booked it a day before we arrived as we were arriving at 1am so our room would be clean and ready. So when we got into the room all we wanted to do was sleep. The bed was as hard as a rock and when we went into the bathroom the toilet had been leaking water all over the floor and it smelled really bad. So in the morning we asked to see the manager and spoke to her. She said she was so sorry we will move you to another room which she did. The room was lovely and the bed was nice....

"Great location, very friendly staff, great room. The only issue we had with the hotel was, we had a pool access room but that pool gets a very small amount of sun, if any. The main pool gets sun. We used the main pool instead of the pool access via our room pool. Also, the pillows are massive in height. You can request thin pillows which we did after our first night. Other than these minor concerns, we would stay there again."

"We stayed at Desa Potato Head and it truly exceeded every expectation. We originally booked the Sunrise Studio, but upon arrival we were surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the Garden Suite, which was such a thoughtful gesture and set the tone for the rest of our stay. What stood out most was how warm and genuine the service was. Every staff member we encountered, from the buggy driver to the pool staff to the reception team, was consistently welcoming, friendly, and attentive. A special mention to Yogi, who assisted us throughout our stay and genuinely made us feel taken care of from the moment we checked in until we checked out. His sincerity and attentiveness really made the experience feel personal. We also truly appreciated the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. Upon check-in, we were given reusable tumblers to use throughout the stay since the hotel does not use single-use plastics, and we even got to bring them home. It’s such a thoughtful and meaningful touch that reflects their values. We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool and were continually delighted by the small details, from complimentary jamu shots to fresh fruit and papaya or watermelon ice cream. These gestures may seem small, but they made us feel genuinely cared for and added so much warmth to the experience. Everything about the hotel—the atmosphere, design, energy, service, sustainability mindset, and people—made this stay incredibly memorable."
