"I wanted to stay in a place that had history and felt uniquely English. This is why I picked Marygreen Manor. The garden was beautiful, the history was interesting, the staff were wonderful, the food was delicious, and the beds were so comfortable. I enjoyed having coffee on the lawn. It was so peaceful. "

"Martin was very helpful, welcoming, polite, friendly and jolly!!! Amazing welcome. The room was clean and was pleasantly surprised that there was hand soap, a couple of toilet rolls not just 1, shower gel, microwave, extra heater and mini fridge along with more!"

"Great hotel. Friendly welcome and quick check in. Large spacious room with Dyson fan included which was needed on a hot night. My room was on the front so some traffic noise but that doesn’t bother me. It’s a 10 min walk to Gidea Park station for trains in to London. Ery convenient location and a great price. There’s also a Micropub opposite which is worth a visit. "

"The Hotel is an absolute must, it’s set in secluded grounds surrounded by amazing views across the beautiful Essex countryside, the staff are absolutely fantastic and nothing was too much trouble, a special shout out to Stephen who made us feel so welcome and spent time telling us about the Hotels History, Christina and the team ensured they made our stay a real pleasure, our room was fantastic, spacious and super clean, as for the food it was incredible !!! I have eaten in some of the best...
