"The property is fantastic for a family with kids. They have a pool, a small playground, there’s a small market with all your grocery needs. It felt safe, the little homes had all the essentials you need even AC and heat. There’s a shuttle that takes you to and from Venice, that you can easily book at front desk or once you check-in. "This hotel is amazing. Clearly very recently renovated and has all updated modern features and beautiful design choices! Check in was easy and the staff were incredibly helpful after a long day of travel and went above and beyond to assure we had a water taxi to deliver us directly to the hotel dock! They also allow you to store your luggage for free after check out which is a huge bonus! Would 100% recommend to anyone traveling to Venice! "

"Everything, including the breakfast, was wonderful. My only suggestion is to amend the hotel name listing. We walked in circles looking for “San Marco Palace” but the sign outside says “Hotel Royal San Marco”"

"We had a great stay at Ca' Mariele with our toddler. The hotel is located just outside a large square with lots of dining options and about a 20min walk from St Marks Square. The room was very nice and clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful!"

"The hosts made us feel very welcome. The room was very spacious with a kitchen, separate living room area, separate bedroom, like an apartment rather than a hotel. Canal view was limited - we had to literally stick our heads out the bathroom window to see a canal. But I suppose that’s how Venice is. At any rate, it was a perfect spot for us, close to the best gelato shop in town!"

"Avoid this apartment! When we arrived we noticed an odd smell outside the room that continued to worsen during our stay so much so that it seeped into our room in the middle of the night waking us up. It was so awful it was nauseating and in the morning as we exited the room we had to hold our breath. Absolutely foul. The hotel refused a request for a refund after this experience. Terrible stay, terrible customer service. Do not waste your time here."

"Central location. Close to popular areas. Plenty of dining options and shops next to the property. The property was clean and has that Venice look and feel. Just like Venice, be prepared to climb stairs when you get the suite. Recommend travelling light otherwise, it’s hard carrying those suitcases up to the 2nd fall. Great little private balcony to enjoy the warm weather. Communication with property is great as well. Quick responses. "
