"Hotel was lovely, room was great just the bathroom/ shower shelf missing/Broken meaning all shower stuff had to be left on the floor. Breakfast was great not full English but scrambled eggs,bacon and all the usual continental and cereals. Served with fresh coffee or tea. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by and away from the madness and costs of Venice island. Handy for the actv waterbus 5-10 mins walk would definitely go back"

"Breakfast was extensive for such a small place. Front desk staff was anazing!!! Appearing shortly after check in with a welcome belini❤️ Liberal use of scented cleaners made the room smell unbearable. Front desk provided a fan very promptly to help. The hotel in under renovation & beside a gym/dance studio. So there is noise during the day if you're in the hotel during the day. My room had a large structural pillar in the middle of the rim making it hard to navigate the space. But the bed, ...

"Nós amamos o hotel. O fato dele ser antigo é exatamente o charme dele, parece cazinha de vó, super aconchegante e acolhedora. Bem localizado na ilha de Lido próximo ao ponto de parada do vaporetto (iamos e voltavamos apé) e uns 10 minutinhos de Veneza. Como estavamos de carro, foi ótimo porque viemos de ferryboat e conseguimos estacionar do lado hotel (ruas com bastante vaga e seguras). O café da manhã foi perfeito e super valeu os 10 euros. "The room was perfect for what we needed. It’s quite rare to find a property with a double and two single beds. The breakfast was perfect to set us up for the day, and the hostess was really helpful with local information. I would recommend this place if wanting to visit Venice, we prefer escaping the bustle of the centre and escaping by water taxi to this quieter location for the night. The nearby restaurants and bars were great."

"We found Hotel Rigel to be an excellent choice for our 5 nights. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the waterbus stop on Lido on a quiet road. Our room was comfortable and very clean with some interesting touches of Venetian style.
