"The rumbling noise and shaking from the trains below the hotel was terrible. I finally got to sleep around 1am and was awoken from 4.30am onwards - I tried a white noise app which could not drown out the noise and did nothing for the rumbling movements. I was going to conduct a teleconference until noon but ended up checking out at 5.30am to drive the 2 hours home. I was also informed I would get a free bottle if wine as an Expedia VIP but was offered nothing. A waste of $200 - very...

"maybe it s all in black, that s why I get to see more dust with my eyes.. but dust everywhere. and I doubt cleaners can clean thoroughly as the lights in the room is a bit deemed out. shower head was broken, so could not fix the head, I had to use backwall to fix it... "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grace. The apartment was modern and very clean. The location couldn't have been better. Walking distance to everything we needed and also a bus stop 1 minute walk. 15 Minute bus trip into the city which is so much more convenient than having to take the ferry. A little pricey but it's what you'd expect for that area."

I stayed in Lyall Melbourne. That was a true 5 star boutique hotel in a very nice area. Ok, prices differ between Sydney and Melbourne, but...
