"We had a wonderful stay at The Garland this past weekend and would absolutely recommend it to friends! The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and the property was very well-maintained. We loved the pool and the dive-in movies at night! We didn’t go to Universal, but it was incredibly close and the hotel had a shuttle to and from the park (we plan to stay here again next time we come to visit Universal). This was a great find and we will definitely be back!"

"I came here in 2021 and have come to California 5 other times and each time I wanted to come back to this place so I did in July 2025. I feel it’s located in the best part of California and makes traveling to the coast or more inland accessible, convenient, and affordable. I really like this hidden gem that is nestled in Calabasas. There are stores in walkable distance. Pool is clean and beautiful. The night before I left there were guest above my room making a lot of noise as I tried to sleep, I thought maybe they were rehearsing for a river dance special until it became to much. Guest Services were prompt in handling this situation and I was able to fall asleep. I highly recommend this Inn, lastly, they have the best coffee in the morning, non of that off brand coffee you never can find in a store, real Colombian coffee. Will definitely be returning!! "
