"Great location for us to enjoy our city/theatre weekend - with plenty of opportunity to explore the local area. Staff were friendly and polite at every interaction. Nice lobby, with plenty of seating, a cafe and access to bars and restaurants on that level. Our room was on the 4th floor at the rear of the hotel. It was warm in the room and when we reported it, we were happy it was sorted straight away. Extra double glazing ensured we never heard any noise from the trains passing by. While not the most luxurious room, it was light and airy, with (almost) everything we needed for our stay! Clean, fresh sheets and towels, a fridge to keep drinks cold; polite staff at every interaction. Will be back - as great base for us to explore from.

We opted to eat here on our first night and were not disappointed. Good selection of nibbles, starters, mains and desserts. I opted for the papaya salad - crisp and fresh with a lightly spicy marinade, and husband had crispy prawns, followed by beef rendang for me, and nasi goreng for husband. We finished off with banana fritters and mango cheesecake. All beautifully presented, very enjoyable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and while we were there, enjoyed a bottle of wine to finish it all off.

A bargain is always good - and half price drinks are great! We enjoyed a couple of drinks before our dinner in the relaxed atmosphere of this 'pub' in the hotel. Again, the staff were friendly. "
