"Place was gorgeous, modern, convenient, clean. Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. Would have liked a full size coffee maker as the nespresso...

"Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had an early flight out the next morning so didn’t get to enjoy breakfast. They did off to bring us a little breakfast tray early, but sadly they must have forgot as we never got it. But the room was beautiful, had a cute nespresso machine in it and the bed was comfy. Overall a lovely stay! "

"The staff was nice. The rooms were cleaned daily but make sure to put the door sign on the door so they know to clean it. The attached restaurant was pretty good and staff was nice and helpful as well. The mattress on the bed was very hard and barely had any give to it. Bathrooms were a decent size. Our room was facing towards the back which ended up being very loud at night. You could hear people walking around and even hear their conversations. Friday night was probably the worst with outside...

"This hotel is in a great location for exploring Edinburg. The rooms are small but clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. We did have a problem with our air con and it was surprisingly warm in the city for April. The staff sent someone to look at it f provided a fan to cool down the room. Breakfasts were buffet style and were a little crowded. The food wasn’t anything I’d rave about, but it was decent and there was plenty of it. "Somethings doesn't add up. The rating and pictures don't match the experience. First of all, this is not a traditional aparthotel where you check in and stay in that building. Staycity Edinburgh seems to have purchased residential apartments all surrounding the check in office. You may end up having to walk around the corner to your "block". "Not a 4 star standard of service or rooms. Not fully accessible to the road and buses etc. Staff extremely variable. Some friendly and efficient others disinterested and don’t deliver. For example empty handed staff walk down corridors littered with ice buckets plates etc and do nothing about it for hours. "Fijne en schone accommodatie en een hele mooie douche gelegenheid. Het ontbijt is top en voor ieder wat wils. Ontbijtzaal zelf is gezellig met diverse soorten plekken/zitjes. Grote voordeel van dit hotel is de ligging. Je bent zo in het gezellige oude centrum. "It was a great spot, with a 15 minute walk into the Royal Mile. It was close to restaurants. The room was big enough for the 3 of us. The owner was very nice and helpful. We were given fresh towels each morning and we would stay again. "
