"Almost outside the front drive there are bus stops which is handy as The Tyndall is located on a steepish hill leading to Bear Flat above Bath where there are local shops and a pub. quite easy on the eye. It's nicely decorated throughout and kept very clean. Our room was on the ground floor and fitted with a kingsize Hypnos bed which was very comfortable indeed. The staff are very attentive and keen to help. "

"The description on Expedia did not mention that the family rooms have shared washrooms. Not the hotel's fault, but still an irritant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "Breakfast was ok I had the salmon with scrambled egg first day which was very good same for my wife next day I got full English which was not very good as for the room no tea bags no kettle dinning room was to cramped Had to asked to be moved to the main hotel dinning room which was much better "
