"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."

"Room was clean, comfortable and had all the basics needed. The ensuite shower room was clean and everything worked as it should. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Location was excellent for easy access to Gatwick, only a five minute bus journey to the North Terminal. There is a good pub, less than ten minutes walk away and a petrol station/convenience store nearby. The price was also very good for a late booking. "I must have not read the description properly or some facts were omitted! My room was on a rickety third floor - no elevator and had to drag my luggage 3 flights of stairs! My bathroom was not en-suite - which meant I was given keys to a separate toilet and shower down the rickety corridor! No bathrobe in the bedroom which meant I had to go to the shower dressed in pants and t- shirt. However a very good breakfast with choice of fruit, yogurt and rolls as well as a cooked English...

"super friendly and helpful staff. equipment could do with some upgrades. on-switch in the kettle in my room was partly broken. kitchenette in my daugther's room couldn't turn - which meant the cabinet door was in the way of the microwave oven which therefore can't be open."
