"Described as a bed and breakfast without the breakfast.
Very confusing accommodation with bathroom and toilet access or down the hall.
Greeting was interesting but beds were okay for sleeping and mainly quiet.
Pictures don't represent the rooms and expectations from advertising not met.
Would not stay again even for one night."

"Das Hotel liegt sehr weit außerhalb, ist aber gut mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Die Gegend ist wenig einladend, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist in Ordnung."

"The Hotel and room were clean and comfortable and the owner very willing to please. The location is well situated with easy acess to the town centre shops and seafront. Traffic noise is minimal and presents no problems with sleeping.
The morning breakfast offers a large and varied selection with something available for all tastes, The full English breakfast is highly recommended to set you up for the day.
As a suggestion a tea towel and small sponge would be an advantage upon the sink in order...

"Everything was perfect. Lovely room which was immaculately clean and well presented. Stephen and Neil were perfect hosts and clearly work really hard to ensure their guests have a lovely stay. Great location for everything in the area. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you!"

"Excellent parking, lovely secure access, brilliant information from host emailed ahead of stay with location and access instructions. Nice room, lovely and clean with plenty of space, lovely little bathroom and great amenities overall. Will definitely book again. "

"I was only booked in for one night. Young man who booked me in was very friendly and assisted me with taking my suitcases up stairs as unfortunately there is no lift. The stairs are rather narrow. The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable.
Food from restaurant was good and fairly reasonable. Unfortunately I didn’t get breakfast which is included as I had an early train to catch."

"Staying here was amazing. The room was just what I needed for my one night stay in Durham. The bus stop wasn’t far away and was very easy to get into the city center. I arrived a little bit early and they didn’t even flinch to get me into my room. Highly recommend!"
