"I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel and our room, especially for the price compared to nearby options. The location is perfect, right across from a ferry landing and bus stop. Very walkable to many of the city’s attractions as well. It is the tallest building in the area and our room had a lovely view of the river and city from the 14th floor. The room was spacious, bed was cosy and there was a deep tub with shower combo. There is a mini-safe, mini-fridge, tea kettle and Nespresso maker. Free water bottles, various teas and Nespresso capsules were provided. The room has A/C and blackout curtains as well. All of the staff were very helpful and attentive. Special thanks to Shaz at the front desk who allowed us to checkout a little late without charge after our brunch ran long due to an order mix-up. Would definitely stay again!"

"It's a cheap hotel that is clean and has the basic facilities, and the staff are polite. However the whole place is run down and very dated. I expected a bit more from a Wyndham hotel. It's perfectly fine if it's just a room for the night that you need but wouldn't want to be there any longer. We had a very late flight into Bristol and didn't want to do the 3 hour onward journey at 2am, so sleeping there was better than sleeping in the car."

"I checked in at 02:30hrs and was very tired and went straight to bed. The room was uncomfortably cold although the key card switch was in place. Unfortunately the heating doesn't automatically come on, the wall controller need to be switched on. The last thing you think of when you are tired and needing a good nights sleep after a long flight is to switch on the room temperature and make adjustments."

"The room was okay and good value for the centre of Bristol - some TLC needed in the rooms - warn carpets, dirty window frames - just gave the feeling of being grubby. When looking our the window you are overlooked by other rooms and this showed more signs of improvements being necessary - lead flashing falling off the roof. We had one drink in the bar and fruit flies were very evident. Not a bad stay but not perfect - just a need for for investment and some TLC!"
