"The hotel was disgustingly. It stank of cigarettes. Chose it as conveniently close to Anfield for a match we were attending. The room was filthy. Dust everywhere No bin. No tea or coffee facilities as advertised. Not even a bin in the room. Tv didn’t work. Only 1 towel for 2 of us. Bathroom dusty and shower was filthy. Toilet cistern dripped all night. Couldn’t wait to leave. Please avoid."

"This is not a Hotel, this is basically an AirB&B with escalated prices for a room with shared bathroom and shared also with owner. The owner was nice enough but we paid £97 for night (not worth it) compared to £65 at Ibis hotel in Liverpool (Albert Docks) - air conditioning, own bathroom and much more comfort. This ‘Hotels.com’ need to vet what people are offering. I am actually quite offended by what I was offered and will now use other sites to book ACTUAL hotels! "

Titanic Hotel Liverpool

10/10 Excellent

"The service in at the Titanic Hotel was outstanding. The staff were amazing, the level was set by the welcoming receptionist, she was so pleasant and friendly, smiling at all times, just superb. I received a free upgrade and the room was huge clean and amazing. I loved how when walking to my room the corridors were wide and there was a sound like you are by the sea. Each touch point was accounted for. Unfortunately I could not use the Spa due to time, but will do next time. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Waterside Hotel. Parking in the basement was easy with lifts to all floors. The room was good, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only grumbles would be that it was difficult getting into the bath tub to have a shower and there was no fridge in the room."

"Lovely property with clean rooms and general areas. Great decor with lots of original wood flooring and ironwork etc. nice atmosphere in the bar in the evening. Enjoyed our meal in 1931 restaurant. Really handy for the Liverpool Philharmonic across the road. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel and the venue."
