"Gorgeous castle close to Edinburgh! So far the main areas are renovated and they are stunning. The aesthetic blends castle feel (gold mirrors, beautiful wooden buttresses, textured wallpaper) with fabulous modern touches (lighting and tiling). We stayed in suite 27 and it had luxurious touches throughout (copper bathtub, double headed shower, new tiling, beautiful new bed) mixed with remnants of the castle feel (tapestry headboard and ancient well (secured) . "Excellent from the staff in the reception area, the beautiful facilities, super clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, great restaurant and excellent breakfast. All I have to say that this is one of my favorite places to stay. Love the spacious bathrooms, and the staff was very helpful assisting me with mailing something on my behalf. "
