The room was supposed to be air conditioned however it did not work, the hotel offered to change our room on day 2 however the a/c did not work in the second room. When we contacted the reception they were not able to offer us anything further as the hotel was fully booked. We asked for a fan and they were not able to provide one, we looked at leaving the hotel but...

"one of the best hotel room, i have ever stayed. the lobby is nice, the room is huge and even nicer. they refill the water, but towards the end of our stay, they no longer refill the snack. otherwise the room is nice as per picture, bonus it is just 3 mins walk from the train station, so if your journey is late at night, this hotel is just close by to the train station and royal mile."

"I really love the room design! The staff was helpful for me giving me options to switch rooms. I stayed there for 3 days but only had 1 breakfast (prepaid for 20 gbp). Breakfast was ok but a bit pricy comparing to other hotels that I stayed. Overall I loved the experience there."

"Wir hatten zwei Nächte im Revolver gebucht. Bei Anreise (immerhin nach 16 Uhr) war das Zimmer nicht gereinigt. Wir mussten erstmal darauf hinweisen. Der Kollege an der Rezeption/ Bar hat sich gleich gekümmert (er kann sicher am wenigsten dafür) und auf Nachfrage haben wir zumindest mal ein Freigetränk für die Wartezeit bekommen. Das war aber auch das einzig Positive. Der Müll wurde geleert, die benutzen Handtücher kamen weg. Ob das Bett wirklich frisch bezogen wurde kann man nur mutmaßen, so...

"Want hostel sized living spaces but hotel prices? So small it was almost a humiliation ritual- you didn't have room to open your suitcase then walk past it to the bathroom. Bathroom smelled like mold, and you had to cut your own key when you arrived? They should have a self-enforced price cap on this place so they're not putting people through peak pricing for this abomination of a hospitality experience. Just because you can make the smallest room physically possible doesn't mean you should....

"The shower bottom door leaked a bit which meant that the shower mat got soaked. But that’s okay because they provided plenty of towels. The towels are really large as well. Pub was really good food and drinks and staff were super friendly and awesome. We were there Saturday night which had a big party and we could hear a bit late into the evening but nothing too bad."
