"Highly recommend staying here if it’s within your budget!
If you have the Hakone Freepass, then head to Gora and the hotel has a very convenient shuttle bus stop there that runs every 20 min. Upon arriving staff greeted us, took our luggage, and coordinated check in. After check in, staff immediately escorted us to the room with our stuff while telling us highlights of the property, such as where the onsens were and where breakfast was.

"I highly recommend this Ryokan for a traditional Japanese experience. The room was spacious, comfortable and I loved the tatami mat! "Dinner and breakfast were fresh and delicious! There were many parts of it that we got to try and experience which was a lot of fun.
The private onsen in our room and the one that is available to use was super relaxing and soothing after a long day of travel. The room was spacious and very cozy as well."
