"Short stay to see the Metallica gigs in nearby Stratford. The stag were nothing but helpful and friendly at all times. "I really liked this hotel. It's what I would call a hidden gem, because I had no idea it was there. "The room was not properly cleaned and we had to clear hairballs and dust. We cleaned the room ourselves before unpacking. The shower flooded the bathroom and it had obviously done this before as the bathroom door was rotten - bits of wood coming out. Mould around the edges and the towels were stained. Also had to request a second set of towels which were given to us in the bar and not put in our room. Disappointing for a large chain. Would not recommend staying here."
