"I stayed in Room 411, which is located on the lower ground floor with access to a patio through a glass wall that includes two windows and a door. Unfortunately, the lack of privacy was quite uncomfortable. The room only had thick blackout curtains and no sheer or lighter blinds. This meant that during the daytime, anyone walking through the patio area—including other guests and cleaning staff—could easily see into the room unless the curtains were completely closed. "Hôtel à 10mns à pieds de Big Ben. 10mns à pieds d’une station de métro qui mène directement à la gare San Pancras. 2mns à pied du Musée Tâte Britain. 2mns de la Tamise pour les balades nocturnes. Le moins aimé chambre étroite distance TV yeux pas assez grande. Nous avons choisi 2 lits mais ils étaient collés donc pas de différence avec un grand lit. Pas de bouteille d’eau disponible dans la chambre à notre arrivée . No flyer in the room listing the available services."

"Room was clean, with a spacious bathroom. The only issue was a bad sewer smell coming from the shower. We were too tired from our journey to ask to change rooms. Also disappointed to have no view and instead looked right across into someone’s apartment living room."

"Hatten ein Zimmer im Souterrain, wenig Licht. Das Doppelzimmer The Roost hat ein großes Doppelbett, allerdings ist das Zimmer wirklich klein, keine Ablagemöglichkeiten bzw. Schränke. Zwei Koffer finden hier schwerlich Platz. Das Bad (Dusche und Toilette) hat vielleicht 2qm, das Waschebecken ist im Zimmer. Dafür alles sauber, sehr hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter und sehr gute Lage. Alles in Allem ist die Unterkunft eine Empfehlung wert, wenn man nicht viel Platz benötigt."

"Nice clean hotel in a very convenient location. There are 2-3 supermarkets within metres; nice cafe; post office, chicken and sandwich shops closeby; eat street 50m away. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is a guest laundry in the basement which was a godsend after being 5 weeks abroad. Tube station not far away. The only downside was the gym is extremely small with little equipment. Cleaning is done every second day, if you require daily there is a charge."

"Overall I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It’s got that old charm with modern touch. My next door guest room played music very loud all night until 3am. I guess sound proof wall wasn’t thick enough well, other than that it’s very nice place and strongly recommend to anybody visiting London Mayfair area."

"the hotel doesn't have stair case, but the front desk staff, she is kind enough to help with our luggage to the 6th floor although the room is small, but it is so comfy with basic amneties. the shower room/toilet is super clean, and the water pressure is good it worth its price"
