"Very nice ground floor room with small patio overlooking the garden. Room was very comfortable with all the amenties that one needs, We had a good dinner with our grandkids. Breakfast buffet was good with fresh farmhouse bread etc. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful."

"We arrived about 6pm. We went through from the bar area to the hotel section and we’re very warmly greeted, given all the info and made to feel very welcome. The room was cosy and had good views out. The decor and particularly the bathroom needed a bit of TLC. It all worked but needed the odd bit of paint here and there and maybe new carpets in the halls. Breakfast was fantastic! Overall very good and great for the below average last minute price we paid. The location is stunning!"

"The only downside to the hotel is the lack of parking. Whilst you can pre-book reserved parking at the railway station it's a 5 minute walk away, so not ideal with luggage, particularly if it's raining. However, that won't put me off staying again as everything else about it is wonderful! "Loved our room with a balcony, river view and just the right size. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. The longe was peaceful, the dining room and service was excellent and the Bar lounge had a wonderful view over the river and a cosy place to be and meet friends. Everywhere was soo tidy and clean . On arrival to the hotel, I went to check in, and found I’d booked the wrong date, I was a week early. "Very welcome as soon as we entered the hotel. Everything was explained and nothing was to much trouble. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Excellent extras in the room . The only downside was the toilet and even though it was obscured glass cubicle it was slightly off putting knowing your silhouette was outlined whilst …….doing your business. Apart from that highly recommended hotel , great stay . "
