"Just there as a stop over whilst we attended a wedding locally but, not at the hotel itself. Very nice, clean and spacious rooms. We did bring our swimming gear but, didn't make it to the pool. We had received a message beforehand about times etc., but maybe something in the room would have helped us to organise ourselves. Breakfast nice, bar food good and staff really friendly. "Please note this property sometimes pops up on Searches specifying Air conditioning.. The Property has Approx 94 Room Apparently Only 5 currently have A/C So ur chances of getting one R slim Added 2 that they recently quoted me an Extra £25 for an A/C Room So perhaps one 2 save 4 Winter"

"Original grand building in a pleasant location. Poor value for money. Reluctant to check in early, despite agreed that we could to be able to attend a wedding on time. Disappointing view from Room 7 and 8 even though booking was made 7 months earlier. When this was mentioned to the staff at reception, we were told we had not paid extra for the view. The staff members in the dining room were very helpful and friendly."

They requested about the purpose of our stay and on telling them we were there for an event offered us an upgrade on our room. The room provided was spacious with a large comfortable bed - though it was quite high! Bozena was fantastic at breakfast, providing friendly and attentive service, and the barman was very accommodating by providing a fan during the current heatwave, which was greatly appreciated.
