"This property was actually perfect for what I wanted. I just needed to stay one night near Monterey and a clean and affordable room. This fit the bill. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful. It’s an older property and so a tad shabby in spots, but it was clean and that was what mattered to me."

"Beautiful stay in a beautiful location. The area was quiet and felt very safe. The interior was a bit old and had its share of scuffs but nothing that made our stay feel inconvenient. We loved this place and would definitely come again."

"In general very convenient hotel for family vacation: golf, pickleball, easy to get around, nice staff and in general everything is very convenient. On weekends gets busy. One thing we did like, the doors to the bathroom, these sliding mechanism is a bad idea for hotel "

"Pretty nice stay overall. Front desk staff are efficient and friendly. There are a few cosmetic things that could be fixed but the overall room is nice. Comfortable bed and a good size to the room (booked oversized room). Breakfast was good but gets very busy so arrive early. Walking distance to the beach was nice. "

"The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was also clean and at a nice temperature. There were yard games as well. The hotel is a short distance from restaurants and wine tasting rooms. The check-in person was very friendly and helpful with information about the area. We would return here again to explore Carmel and Big Sur. "
