"We had a great experience staying at Colton Inn during our trip to Monterey. The location is perfect — just a short walk to downtown, restaurants, and close to Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf. It made getting around super easy. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beds were cozy, and we appreciated the private balcony for some fresh air. Parking was convenient and included, which is a huge plus in Monterey. The complimentary breakfast was simple but good — enough to start the day before exploring. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, great value for the location and comfort. Would definitely stay here again! "

"Had a great stay. My room was always clean. Easy check in and check out. I loved being close to so much. Places to eat, to charge the Tesla, the beach, the Wharf, Cannery Row. Everything was within a few miles. It was also quiet at night. The room was small, but it was perfect for me since I was traveling alone. I would stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The check in process was smooth and EZ. Very helpful friendly employees. Spacious room, beautifully done with a romantic fireplace. Comfortable beds and pillows. Restaurant had a good menu. Fireplaces indoors and outside in the seating area. We ate inside but the outside patio was very inviting and well done. Fitness center was small but had everything you would need. The outdoor pool was nicely done. Very clean with cushioned lounge chairs and tables. A great place to hang out. Parking is available on property for a small fee, and was convenient to our room. We felt safe. We enjoyed the location. Across the street were some coffee houses and restaurants. We walked to Fishermans Wharf from the hotel and it was nice to have lunch on the water. We will be staying there again. "
