"if you booked here you probably couldnt find anything closer to big sur. It is cheap and 2 hours away. The bed is hard af. But i will give credit that it is clean and has parking and the staff helped check us in pretty fast. the price ehh makes sense i guess. "I was not aware that hotel was in the same property as gas station. It was a little confusing to find where to check in because I only saw a gas station store entrance. Turned out it was the same entrance but hotel reception was at the back of the store. One of the big reasons we booked this hotel out of other options was for the breakfast option and we were only told about self serve coffee at the reception office between 7am-10am which was disappointing.
