"Parking was a pain it was inclined the on-staff employees were not 24-hour as it had said online I went down around midnights to get fresh towels and the employee ran down with his pants half open presumably he got dressed to come down to tell me that they weren't open but that was not a site anyone needed to see or wanted to see. and he told me they weren't open 24 hour on that so I didn't get any fresh towels in that moment. "A wonderful hotel with a great room, but honestly, the bed stole the show! It's such a treat to find a place where the mattress is actually comfortable — no sleeping on a rock here! The area is nice and quiet, with restaurants nearby. To top it all off, the complimentary breakfast was delicious"

"Last week I had a very pleasant stay at Deer Haven Inn. It's location is at the quiet end of the peninsula, which I appreciate. Very short walk to Asilomar beach. My room had a small fridge and microwave, also a coffee maker. Very clean and very safe. Adequate parking. Nisha, who manned the front desk, is very pleasant and efficient. I love Pacific Grove, and Deer Haven is one of the more affordable options. "

"I think the people were nice. The place was clean. The rooms were good but could use Kleenex in rooms. I’d say the less-than-perfect score is due to the construction workers there. It seems like a group of men live there that work construction and seem to have taken over a bit. They’d hang out outside of their hotel rooms and were somewhat loud. Didn’t make me feel super comfortable. They were fine and no problems but it just felt weird to me. "
