"This property is in a very good area of Salinas. Many places in downtown are easily accessible. If you are a tourist visiting Carmel-by-the-Sea or on a road trip, this is a great place to stay and commute from. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and full of the amenities you will need. I highly recommend it! "

"The shower head wouldn’t move and pointed straight to the back wall. And the shower and sink were slow draining. Besides that the room was clean, bed and pillows were comfy. Property was really quiet and the staff was friendly. "

"Everything is clean and the staff is amazing. We stay in a lot of hotels and travel a lot, and the staff at the Hampton Inn in Gilroy is really one of the best. However, their breakfast are awful. Again the staff does their best, but the food quality is really bad. Also, we had a seven day stay and we needed to request housekeeping. And most of the hotels where we stay if you’re over three days, you automatically get a housekeeping. I think they should rethink that policy because it’s kind of...

"Safe, clean, quiet, comfortable, place to visit the area. Parking was right outside the door. Lush woodsy residencial neighborhood, walkable or bicycle, right beside Asilomar State Beach. 10 minute drive to Safeway and Luckys shopping centers for anything such as better coffee. Value gem. Stayed 3 years in a row."

"The staff member had trouble working the iPad, couldn’t take our room deposit, had to call the owners multiple times, and multiple people kept coming to the desk asking for more towels, soap, and if they could extend their stay. Come to find out, motel 6 operates as a homeless shelter. We tried to cancel but the staff member couldn’t “figure it out.” Stay away from this place if you are a just traveling. The staff member said there are a lot of unsheltered living under the bridge nearby as well....

"This hotel was not as advertised. The parking area seemed sketchy with shattered vehicle glass on the ground. The room had a terrible odour and we could not bring ourselves to stay there. Don’t be fooled by the reviews."

"The room was clean and the staff really nice. It was good for one night and such a cheap price. The Breakfast was fine, but not great, the drinking water taste really weird. We also called a couple of days prior to ask if they could provide us with an additional bed in the room and they told us they could, but buy the time we checked in they didn’t have any roll-in beds available anymore. The pool was fine, the hot tub just didn’t work. I wouldn’t mind staying here again though "

"The location and price were excellent. We could walk to the beach. It is a bit dated and a little worn in places. Loved the clean comfy bed, the quiet and the natural surroundings. I would stay there again."
