Hotel Mesra Alam di Kepulauan Gulf

"Unusual and interesting heritage property. However, the last update looks like it was 15-20 years ago and is now looking out of date and not in keeping with that heritage angle. Staff were friendly and room was clean and functional with a nice view of the street. Stairs are quite steep and as there is no lift (hotel does make this clear) even getting to reception is quite a climb. Great location with some good cafes nearby and an easy walk to the harbour and downtown."

"The location was good as it was close to many popular tourist spots, but not right in the hustle and bustle. Nicely updated bathrooms and the free bike rentals are a great option! The breakfast could use some additions (it’s just toast, yogurt cups, croissants, porridge packets, apples, and cereal), but it wasn’t awful. The breakfast area also has multiple TVs, a pool table, books, puzzles, and games that guests can use which is nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"It was our second time staying here, and it was great. We love the location, staff and breakfast. Our room, 409, had a window with a broken seal, so the moisture build up, blocked part of the view, but the room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again, and highly recommend Embassy Inn. "
